Newspaper elopement announcements, personalized for the happy couple! A fun, creative opportunity to tell the details of your wedding day to your friends and family who couldn’t be there. Serves as a great keepsake for your loved ones and a great way to share photos of your elopement.

Printed Specs:

Please use the Custom Request Form for custom quantities or other special requests!

• 7" x 10" flat sheet / 7" x 5" finished size (folded in half)
  
• 2 pages of content, one sheet front and back
  
• Digitally printed on gray paper (70 lb. text, uncoated, acid-free)
  
• Black & white
• Includes blank A7 envelopes in the color of your choice
• Optional upgrade: printed envelope addressing

NOTE: Elopement newspapers are NOT printed on traditional newsprint; the gray paper is similar but a heavier weight with a nicer quality and archival properties.

All Newspaper Announcements Include:

• Masthead title of your choice
• Front page headline, article + photo
• Fun Facts sidebar about the couple/elopement (optional)
• Back page mini article (or continuation), with photo
• Custom crossword puzzle with up to 15 clues/answers (optional)
• Fully customized content—any of the items listed above can be removed/replaced with a different feature/article/section of your choice! The layout and options shown are just an example. You are only limited by what can fit in the available space.
• Two rounds of revisions

Standard processing time for design, production, and delivery is a minimum of 5 weeks. This allows:

• 2 weeks for design, checking the proof, and revisions
• 2 weeks for printing/production
• 1 week for delivery (Delivery usually takes 2-3 business days, but I prefer to allow at least one week as a buffer)

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PROCESSING TIME BEGINS AFTER I'VE RECEIVED ALL CONTENT FROM YOU.**
You should factor in additional time to prepare content, complete my questionnaire, and provide photos. Actual timeline is dependent on how quickly you provide all text and photos for the newspaper, respond to proofs, and give feedback/revisions. The number of revision rounds may also delay the process.

Once you’ve placed the order, I will provide a schedule of deadlines based on your event date, and keep you updated on your ship date as we go!

The Process:

1. Place your order online and provide payment
2. Within 24 hours, I will email you links to your personal questionnaire and a file of example articles.
3. Content: Complete the questionnaire and submit your high-res photos.
4. Proof: After receiving all content, 1st PDF proof is emailed within 3 business days.
5. Revisions: each revised proof can take 1-2 business days.
6. Final approval of proof is required before printing begins.
7. Printing/Production: 10 business days
8. Delivery: 2-3 business days*

*Delivery time is an estimate given by USPS and is not guaranteed. Standard shipping is via USPS Priority Mail.

Overnight shipping via FedEx is also available for an additional fee.

Rush orders are sometimes available, depending on my current schedule. Please contact me before placing your order to ensure I can accommodate your event date. There is an added fee for rush orders; cost is dependent on the overall timing.

Text

All text is written by you. I can provide example articles and starting points to help you with the process. The pictured design is an example, consisting of article headlines that are meant to be humorous (similar to The Onion), but your text can be as serious or as goofy as you like—it's all up to you!

Photos

Photos you provide must be high-resolution to result in a quality printed product (generally larger file sizes are better). They will sometimes be marked "300 dpi" or "Print Resolution" when downloading from a photographer.

Fonts & Design Style

Fonts and the overall design style used are as pictured in this listing. I can also use an alternate "newspaper" font for the masthead, as seen in the invitation design. Otherwise, if you'd like a new design with different fonts and style (i.e.: aged/vintage, art deco, western, etc), please use the Custom Request Form for a quote!

Proofs + Revisions

Three (3) PDF proofs are included with your order: the initial proof, plus two (2) rounds of revisions. Additional revisions after the 3rd proof are subject to a $25 fee per proof.

Approval

Final approval is required before sending your order to print. Please check the proof carefully. I always do my best to fix obvious errors when I see them, but it is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure all information, grammar, and spelling is correct before approving the proof to be printed.

After approval, the final is immediately sent to the printer, and any further changes will require additional fees to reprint your order.

Returns

Since this is a customized item, I cannot accept returns. Please contact me as soon as possible if you have any problems with your order. See the Shop Policies page for full policies on custom orders.
