After you fill out the inquiry form, I’ll provide a custom quote tailored to your vision and budget. Once we work out the details and agree to move forward, I’ll ask for a 50% retainer of the estimated cost to complete your booking.

That’s when the process really begins! I’ll send over a questionnaire to learn more about your love story, your wedding, and you as a couple, which will inspire the design of your stationery. I’ll also set up your personal client portal, which will help keep all the details of your project organized and on track.

Now that I know more about the two of you, I’ll create a custom lookbook of your stationery suite — including a sketched mockup of all pieces and artwork, color palette, design aesthetic, and inspiration imagery. We’ll go over all these details and confirm that we’re on the same track! Once you’re happy with everything I will proceed in creating the artwork and design of your stationery.

The sketches and lookbook are approved! I will now create all the final artwork, produce the design layouts with full wording and typography, and send over digital proofs for your review. At this time you can make tweaks until everything is perfect.

Two rounds of revisions are included in the pricing of your order. (Additional revision rounds are available as needed, billed at the flat rate stated in your proposal and contract.)

Once the final proofs are approved, I'll send the everything into production and ensure the whole process goes smoothly. I'll also take care of all the finishing and assembly details, so that your final stationery is perfect and ready for mailing.

Your invitations can either be carefully packaged and shipped directly to you, or I also offer full mailing services for an additional fee (plus postage). My full mailing services include tracked shipping labels to guests and an outer stay-flat rigid mailer to protect the invitation suite. This is definitely my preferred way to mail invitations, and the tracking ensures you know exactly when each one is delivered!

For wedding invitations I recommend inquiring at least 7 months before your wedding date—but the sooner the better! I take on a limited number of custom clients per year to ensure I can devote time exclusively to your project.

Save the Dates should be booked at least 12-15 months before the wedding.

Sometimes I'm able to take on a rush project depending on my schedule, so please reach out if your timing is sooner and I can see if I can fit your project in!

This is the timeline I'm currently recommending:

• Save the Dates mailed 10-12 months before the wedding
• Invitations mailed 10-12 weeks before the wedding
• For destination weddings, invitations can be mailed as soon as 4-5 months before the wedding

Historically 6-8 weeks was the suggested standard for invitations. But with the current state of potential post office delays and vendors wanting final counts sooner, 10-12 weeks is a more comfortable timeline. Any more than that is not recommended unless you are having a destination wedding!

Usually about 2 months: 1 month for design + 1 month for production.

Sometimes the design process is longer if we need extended revision rounds, or are accommodating a scheduled vacation, client's availability, etc. If your project timeline falls within the November/December months, the overall process may take closer to 3 months due to holiday office closure periods.

I provide all of my clients a schedule of deadlines to help us keep the project on track!

For custom stationery I do not have a minimum quantity—you can order 1 or 500! But I do have a project minimum of $2,000 for custom invitations.

Most of the cost is in my design fee, which covers all of the services I provide you during our time working together. This cost is unaffected by how many invitations you order, because the time I'll spend on your project is the same either way!

Printing and materials are charged on top of my design fee, as separate line items. This cost IS affected by how many you order, so a quantity of 10 will cost less than a quantity of 500.
