I’m SO excited to share this stunning custom library wedding invitation design!
With illustrated details inspired by the amazing venue—the George Peabody Library in Baltimore, Maryland—this suite features sage green handmade paper with deckled edges, a library book theme (along with a library card pocket inside for the RSVP card), a custom wedding map, beautiful envelope liners, and curated vintage postage to complete the look.

Much of the artwork is inspired by the beautiful venue. The intricate railings from the library’s interior are illustrated throughout the suite, from the book cover, to the interior pocket, and the illustrated map on the center spread. Line artwork and flourishes combined with watercolor illustrations for the map and envelope liner create a beautiful vintage aesthetic with modern touches. A venue illustration of the library stacks is featured on the envelope liner and is probably my favorite detail!
Creating a library wedding invitation design was a fun and unique idea for a bookworm couple. For the library book theme, the front cover of the booklet invitation serves as an introduction for the couple’s “Love Story,” written by the bride and groom. Inside, the RSVP card mimics a traditional borrower’s card for a library book, so invited guests can reply by filling out their names on the cute library card. The first page is the formal invitation, followed by a custom watercolor map illustration of the Baltimore area, and then the final page (not pictured) lists the wedding weekend events. The book is then saddle-stitched and bound with sheer silk ribbon for a romantic and luxurious finishing touch.
